Live Citrus Tree Seedling | 5” Tall Rooted Indoor Citrus Plant

A Little Citrus Tree, Full of Possibility

Every great tree starts somewhere.

Grown from seed and carefully nurtured, these young citrus trees bring glossy green foliage, fresh botanical character, and the pleasure of watching something grow from the very beginning.

Each seedling has developed its own roots and leaves and is ready for its next home. Perfect for a sunny windowsill, an indoor plant collection, or anyone who enjoys growing trees from a young age.

Unlike grafted fruit trees, these are seed-grown citrus plants. Their exact variety and eventual fruit characteristics are not guaranteed. For now, they’re beautiful little trees with plenty of growing ahead of them.

Why You’ll Love It

• Grown from seed: A young, living tree with its own developing root system
• Glossy evergreen foliage: Classic citrus leaves with a fresh, vibrant appearance
• Compact starting size: Approximately 5 inches tall
• Rewarding to grow: Watch new leaves and branches emerge as the plant matures
• A thoughtful gift: Lovely for gardeners, plant collectors, and anyone who enjoys nurturing something from the beginning

Citrus Tree Care

Light: Provide 6–8 hours of bright light daily, ideally with several hours of direct sunlight. A grow light is helpful indoors.

Water: Water thoroughly when the upper 1 inch of soil begins to dry. Never leave roots standing in water.

Soil: Use a well-draining citrus or cactus potting mix in a container with drainage holes.

Temperature: Citrus prefers warmth, ideally 65–85°F. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below 50°F.

Feeding: During active growth, use a diluted fertilizer formulated for citrus, following label directions.

Growth: Citrus seedlings grow at their own pace. Seed-grown trees can take many years to reach maturity, and flowering or fruit production is not guaranteed.
